I shot the local high school tennis tournament yesterday in the city park just down the street from where I live...

As far as I'm concerned, DS, that's art. Very nice! :)

Here's one of a few I shot in Pomona last night. It's my first attempt at timed exposure at night. 2 seconds at F3.5, 200 ISO.

Those high school sports shots are really great, QB. What sort of gear are you shooting with?

Thanks. I was using a Canon 30D and a Sigma 70-200mm/2.8. It's nothing TOO fancy, but still a professional model. A guy at the same meet was using a top-of-the-line Canon. I really can't see why one needs to rip through so many frames. The ratio was probably his 10 frames to my one! [huh]

Yes, Freebird, I consider your work to be art. I think they're all very beautiful. The first one looks like an abstract circular saw blade, the second one looks like wheat, the third a Nautilus, the fourth a swirled-glass globe, and the fifth looks like a jellyfish. To me, anyway. :)

Here are a couple of (somewhat) abstracts from my latest foray into the desert to photograph trains.

I saw these little ants on my flower buds yesterday and couldn't resist taking a few photos. I was surprised at how well they turned out.
