I'm think its a good practice for prosecutors to say very little about pending cases, but this is too funny not to share. Here's newspaper accounts of my most recent armed robbery case. Yes, you read the second article correctly. One of the three suspects was on GPS pretrial monitoring when he robbed the store. He, his two accomplices, and his GPS tracking ankle bracelet, walked into the Dollar General, stuck a sawed off shotgun in the cashier's face and walked out with a pittance that was in the register. The subsequent investigation leading to arrest may be the shortest in Craven County history.

People that stupid with weapons are disasters waiting to happen. They should get longer....
