Separated At Birth ?

Somewhere I've got the old, original "Separated at Birth" book but one of the funniest and worst (sort of a guilty pleasure - part of you looked at it and thought "How mean and cruel to do this!" while the rest of you couldn't help but laugh) was one of the old talking trees from the Wizard of Oz...side by side with...Bette Davis a year or two before she died. She had the hand up with the cigarette in that usual Davis pose, and the picture of the tree had a branch in virtually the same position. If I find the book, I'll post a scan later.

I don't have the photos to prove it, but back when I had a full beard, a homeless guy thought I was Dennis Miller. About a year later, I was sitting outside at a Starbucks and a guy walked by and did a double-take: he thought I was George Lucas.

Don't know what to make about either of those, but my response was the same both times: "I wish I had his money."

Sorry about the poor picture

Remember that crazy psychedelic show 'HR PufnStuf'? I always thought Australian prime Minister John Howard bore a remarkable resemblance to Seymour Spider (far right in second picture). Downright scary, that!

Just came across this post. The title of it didn't interest me so I didn't look at it. But, being that people kept posting on it I thought I'd check it out. I'm sad I did. It's silly, and uncouth, and I think that you should find something better to do with your time. I'm with you ITG. and Matt, you're one handsome guy who deserves better......

Uncouth - a. awkward in manner; strange; unpolished; unseemly :eusa_doh:

"Couth" is from the Old English, "cuth"; known [huh] ~ So then if we reverse the logic, the most logical definition for uncouth is therefore,... strange, as in unknown?

(But in the commonly understood context of the word, you've got more couth than the average Joe, Marc.) :)

Now you've gone and taken me completely off topic,...lol
But I remember that goofy surrealistic show and wonder just what sort of stuff HR was puffing on,.....

I think what made the connection worse, Major, was the caricatures local cartoonists drew of Mr Howard in the Daily Telegraph over the years. In those drawings he looks even more like Seymour Spider!

Man, that HR PufnStuf was a weird show . . . Even as a kid I could tell there was some messed-up stuff going on behind the scenes there! lol

You know, the other day I was playing around on youtube and came across a clip from the movie "Sextette" starring Mae West (1978 her last movie). One of the other names in the movie is Alice Cooper, and when I first saw him I thought it was Barry!

As far as Loungers go, I can't find the post/thread but I recall posting some pics of Deckard and Dinerman side by side where they look like brothers.
