I agree. Mike does excellent work and my husband never scrimped on his hats.

I have good quality Panama in with Mike now to be reblocked, new ribbon and leather sweat. If I ever get to the top of his queue I might have it for summer.

My husband found Mike about 4 years ago when he was making hats at the Budget Truck Rental.

Yes, when I first went there I had to drive around a very long block twice looking for the place until I realized he was in the Budget shop. I had to compete with customers for truck rentals when he was getting my head sized. I loved the funky nature of it, way better than being in a snooty hat store. Suits my working class roots! I have yet to visit his new shop but may get down that way this spring.

I am just above WA state, in Vancouver Canada. But we try to hit Oregon once a year on holidays. May take a detour to Eugene this year on our way to Utah for a month in May.

Hi sorry took me so long to get back. It does in fact have a leather band. It is not marked as Mike Millers Hat but I can call him. The hats are no t with me as I drive truck so I can't remember them and to my daughter a hat is a hat.
