Selling two more jackets:

1) Aero Leather Cheyenne

Brown FQHH, fairly thick and heavy batch, colorwise in the darker spectrum, I'd call it chestnut brown. Standard Configurations plus two inside pockets. Jacket is unworn. It was bought years ago, but first owner sold it to me literally new, he claims to have tried to break it in by sitting on it, but even of that, there are no visible marks. The leather looks new, no signs of wear anywhere except around the buttons from repeatedly doing and undoing them. I bought in the hope to replace my 40 Barnstormer which is also for sale here, unfortunately this Cheyenne fits a tad larger than the Barnstormer and for me to wear it, I'd have to have it tapered through the body.

Measurements:
Pits to pit: 62,5cm
Backlength: 84cm
Sleevelength: 68cm

Asking 500€ plus shipping, which is a steal for this literally new and unworn jacket.

2) Cal Leathers Cross zip style

Picked this up very recently and it's actually a decent fit on me, but it turns out it cannot beat my Langlitz. Anytime I grab for a Cross Zip, it's the Langlitz, so this one will have to go. It's an incredibly cool jacket, though. Short in the back for that cool 60s look, longer in the front to make sure your belt is covered.

It's no vintage 50s Cal Leathers, but one made from the guys currently selling as Cal Leathers, I don't know their strings to the 50s company, I'm guessing they bought the name and patterns because the stuff they sell look identical to the originals. They sell some pretty heavy and cool leather jackets either way. Very pricy.

It's made from extremely heavy (I'm guessing 5 oz) black cowhide, has a second, insulative layer under the lining, probably thinsulate because this jacket is fairly warm, one inside pocket. Cool windstoppers in the sleeves. Jacket has signs of light wear, some creases on the sleeves primarily. Certainly not worn much.

Measurements:
Shoulders: 49cm
Sleevelength: 63cm
Pit to pit: 58 cm
Backlength: 59 cm, but it has a front drop, it wears longer in the front.
Frontlength, collarseam to bottom: 68 cm

Like Langlitz jackets, this one is heavily tapered as you can tell from fit pics.

Me wearing it, I have a 40" chest, 180 lbs:

Leaves home for 500€ plus shipping. Now 400€!

I am considering trade offers, LW jackets size 40-42, preferably Suburban, Roadhouse, Ryder, Downtown, Bedford styles. May also look at some nice Johnson Leather, horsehide Vansons or Aero Half-Belts.

Best,
jj

JJ, Cal's management has always been the same. Last I heard, they're still run by the original owners - or at least their closest relatives. It's still a few people show, much smaller than Aero. They simply redesigned the website and got some help with the marketing, but nothing much changed. New Cal = Old Cal. The prices might seem high but a jacket by Cal Leathers was always pricey, even back in the days. Old ads show them being priced at twice (or more) the price of a J-24. While Buco and such were a mail order jackets, equivalent to mall stuff, Cal's always been made to measure, premium maker that did professional, high end motorcycle gear. That's why the cops used to wear 'em. Whole different league. You got a good one there and good Cal is the best of the best.

If I had the $, this would be long sold. I'll try to earn some and hope it sticks around until then.
