Actually, it's the weave which defines seersucker, not the fabric composition. It began as a silk fabric in India and is in fact still made as such today. Hickey-Freeman, Paul Stuart and Brooks Brothers have all offerd 100% silk seersucker in recent years. I've also noticed a proliferation of cotton/poly seersucker on the market recently as well. :eusa_doh:CharlestonBows said:Seersucker is, by definition, cotton.
