Seeking: fedoras, 7 1/2

Posting someplace else besides the classifieds. I'm looking for a 7 1/2 1940s fedora or a modern one (secondhand, like the Akubra Federation iv or the Stetson Stetsonian). Nobody seems to have any for sale now that I actually have money to buy one. Looking for a tall straight crown, wide brim (more than 2 1/2 inches) in brown, tawny, taupe wtc. Any leads are appreciated. (I'll take a 7 3/8 or a 7 5/8 too)

From what I know about the offer you were given, I think I would just throw in the towel and go through on his offer. Desirable vintage hats in your size are few and far between. I say take the Champ, unless there's a turn-off I don't know about. You will seldom find other offers for vintage hats in your size, and that's hard facts. Good luck on your shopping, sir.
