Not necessarily my cause, but I'm sure there are others in the FL who would agree to save the pink bathroom.

One article on the website describes this incredible score that someone saved from the landfill. I could hardly believe what I was looking at.

If our 1958 ranch home had any pink bathrooms, I'd save them. But alas, we only have aqua blue and peach!

Not that that's a bad choice of colors. Remember, you are the lady of the house, and if you want a pink bathroom, then should have it. You could always renovate with NOS stuff.

My dad has a pink bathroom in his house (the house I grew up in). Built in 1968 -- still has the original pink toilet, sink, tub, and floor tiles.

I'm one of those obsessive people who must have a white bathroom suite. It comes from my mother: One house we moved into had a pink suite, and it was the first thing she had ripped out.

However, if I lived in the Pink Palace... ;)

My building opened in 1939, and the bathrooms all had nice varieties of subtle shades, pinks, grays, greens, and other interesting shades. My bathroom just has a simple gray and white scheme, unfortunately. And the first thing people seem to want to trash when they move in are the perfectly functional and attractive bathrooms.
What Pam is really promoting here is not just pink, but the whole panoply of interesting colors that vintage and retro bathrooms have been decorated in over the years.

I'll save the fuzzy pink bathroom! :)
Mine was grey and white, built in 1955.
On the other side of town, a friend's house has a pink bathroom all original and in great condition. His house was built the same year, but in a better part of town...back then.

You're secret is out Tom!
C-Dot, I'd take both actually. That bathroom is really cool.
With the right vent fan you'd decrease the mold/mildew factor.
I installed a lightfixture/vent fan in our bathroom (being careful here...) that's 120 cfm. Used when showering and for a few minutes afterwards, the bathroom has no humidity whatsoever. Prior to that, the old fan didn't pull enough and we'd get mildew on the edge of the ceiling.
