I put a notice on the Events board to get the word out, but I guess not a lot of people saw it. They are showing some rare films this year and I wish I could be there. The presenter, Eddie Muller, always has amazing stories about each film and the San Francisco shows usually have some surprise guests. Well worth the seeing if you are at all interested in films of that era.

I will be going to the Seattle version on Feb 19-25. I will post another notice in the Events board when my plans are finalized.

I only had the chance to go to one evening's showings last year. This time around I will probably hit a couple of them. It's always a good time. The audience is great.

Man this sounds really great!!!

I remember Ellroy doing an extended intro to one of the screenings (I think it was "Gun Crazy" - a great film).
