Same as 2010? Use a Vintage Calendar!

If you're looking at having a vintage calendar to use in your home office, study, den or kitchen the day date of the calendar year 2010 is repeated for the following years:

1915
1926
1937
1943
1954

The days and dates line up precisely with 2010.

BUT be careful various Holidays may not line up and some have changed, new ones were created and the CHURCH year is usually different.

The Church year is calculated regarding other events that do change so Easter or Passover will probably be off and they can be by several weeks!

I have a bank calendar for 1942 which matches 2009 in the kitchen and it's a hoot to be able to use it.

Best wishes for 2010!

Doran, Neat calendar!

Some time back (80's?) several of the US gun companies and ammo producers like Remington as well as other companies fields were making nostalgic reproductions of their original vintage calendars that were the matching same day-date years.

The idea has always stuck with me as a really appealing connection to the past.

I thought this link might be of interest to Loungers. It tells you which vintage calendars you can use for the next few years. There aren't many to choose from this year, but next year you're spoilt for choice.

I'd suggest 1929 or 1918, but I suppose that '35 is fine for you "moderns". Note that our calendar is also identical to that of 1963, most, noticable around the end of November, I think.
