Is anyone familiar with the Sahara Hotel in the 1960s? Was there a boutique or shop for ladies called Marie or Maru in it?

I don't recall that name, but I do know there were some nice shops in the hotel. I'll check my "sources" and see what I can come up with. (My wife and were married in LV in '62.)

Well, It took finding an obituary of a woman stating, "she worked as a hostess at the "Maru" room in Hotel Sahara to narrow my original ? here down.
I love research. I also found a vintage 1960s purse with same name.
Now I am on a quest to find more info.
