This is being advertised as a 1970s safari suit jacket. However, as I remember the 1970s, safari suits didn't look this this. They tended to have wide collars, be made of polyester and be in powder blue (think Roger Moore in the seventies Bond films).
I suspect this is much earlier and, as such, could prove to be a bargain for someone wanting a heavy drill cotton safari jacket.
