After some hesitation, I’ve decided to move along this US Authentic A-2. For a long time this jacket was a favorite of mine and a regular wearer - but of late I’ve been favoring wearing different non-A2 styles, so it just sits in a closet and should have a new home.
Here are the Details….
This is a really nice, very solid A-2, with lot’s of character and grain. The Zipper works flawlessly. There is some wear around the collar lining. The knits are worn and have some pilling, but are very serviceable. I’ve included lots of images so you can judge for yourself. From a Smoke-Free, Pet-Free Home.
This is the only US Authentic I’ve owned, and I can definitely say the workmanship on this jacket is outstanding.
I’m looking for $340 US and $14 shipping (I’m happy to ship internationally, but I would just ask the buyer to cover the additional costs). PayPal payment is fine.

- Color: Russet
- Hide: (Thick) Horsehide
- Size: 42R ….BUT PLEASE refer to the following measurements, because in some respects the jacket fits like a size 44, and also has long arms….
- Shoulders (measured flat): 20”
- Chest (measured flat, armpit-to-armpit across the back): 23.50” to 24”
- Sleeve Length (measured on the outside of the arm sleeve): 27”
- Length (measured flat, base of collar to the bottom of the waistband): 25.5”
- Waist (measured right above the knits): 19”
