Rum Lovers - Good Quality Rums

Pyrat XO. Went on a rum reconnaissance mission at my local tiki bar. Tried everything but their stash of original British Navy rations.
Never liked rum before as anything but a mixer till I tried this stuff, now it's all I drink there!

Great sipping rum! Though I personally find 2 snorts is about I can do before that sweet bubblegum and bananna flavor gets too cloying. [huh]

A La Traviata with that Pirat XO brings out a distinct orange flavor. Not at all unpleasant.

Did a survey of my bar while emptying it for the renovation of Trader Scott's Tiki Bar and Lounge and noted that I had over 60 bottles of rum. Everything from Bacardi Silver to Diplomatico and LemonHart 151. I have several favorites, but I always come back to the Flor de Caña and El Dorado for a regular sipping rum.
