ROARIN' 20'S THEME PARTY

Back in late September our friends threw a "Roarin' 20's" theme party.

There was gambling at the speakeasy...

Everyone was required to dress in the fashion of the day...bringing their own gats and heaters was optional. Most brought a toy gun or two...but the hit of the party was my Thompson 1927a1...everyone wanted a picture by the still holding it...I also wore my Auto Ordnance 1911a1 in a black leather shoulder holster, while my wife had a Colt Model 1908 tucked into her garter.

My hat in particular is the:

4" crown.
3" front brim.
2 3/4" back brim.
2 3/4" side brims.

Made of: 100% wool felt.

Cotton sweatband.
1 1/2" grosgrain ribbon hatband ending in a side bow.

What a great party it must have been! Very nice gun too! A year ago actually, my brother went to a "Roaring Twenties" themed banquet, but it centered more on the jazz music of the time rather than the clothing and guns.
