Nice looking jacket. Cuff aren't too wide imo, they'll snug up when zipped. They are an inch or two short for my tastes; ymmv.

Personally, great as this style is and nice a version of ot as this is, if I eas going to spend RMC type money I'd want sonething I couldn't get from half a dozen other places, equally as good, for a lot less outlay, but that really does go to personal and subjective viewpoint.

I think it looks great.
Sleeves are just like i like them, but i like them shorter than most here. Body looks good too.
I was in there last week, they have great jackets! I really like the JH-1.

Jh-1 is one of my favourite as well. Sad there has been a £400 price increase from last season.

Very nice fit but I also find the sleeves a bit too short to my liking.
That being said, buying it from London is too expensive, unless you are just visiting and can get the VAT refunded?

Well, yeah, for anything over $2K, you should absolutely and positively go custom.

I think it depends...
IMO it looks great, and has everthing i would want from a custom.
Shoulders are as hey should, sleeve and body length are just how i like them, bottom hem looks well fitted.
I really can't fault the fit in any way. I would go as far as saying i would feel happy if it was a $2000 custom jacket.
If that is the case, why would you go custom?

He seems to have a similar build to you. To me, the main custom portion of it would be to make the body a bit more form-fitting. Just like your Himel.

I think I agree.

If anything, there looks to be marginally too much leather in front of the shoulders, and it appears to drape excessively below the chest pockets. I don't think it's a size thing though, because everything else looks bang on, but if it were me I would prefer a trimmer fit for the torso.

It's all just opinion though and clearly lots here have already commented that it looks perfect. But those are areas I think might benefit from a custom.

£400 price increase in 1 season.....seriously wtf could possibly justify that?

I’m all for people running profitable businesses but that is taking the piss...

for an unzipped jacket it fits good. when zipped I imagine it would look trimmer too, I don't see any fault fit wise. sleeve is shorter than my personal liking but not too short and if the arm is cut high and the leather is not the kind of super thick that holds creases indefinitely there would be minimal sleeve shrinkage from creases.

I think it went down by 20% or so, seems to fit

Don’t know if it’s just down to Brexit. Pound/Yen fx rate has been pretty stable since late 2016, in fact the pound slightly strengthen since then.

There might have been a delay in adjusting the retail prices or the older stock available through superdenim was in fact purchased earlier when the pound was much stronger. Anyway, a pretty steep increase.

How did the jacket not satisfy you re: fit, blue wallpaper?

many people pointed out the arms, but perhaps a lifetime of short arms has conditioned me to think short arms are normal or maybe i just don’t mind them a little short. either way, i knew the arms were on the short side but i didn’t really mind that.

the issue for me was ultimately the fit in the torso. the 42 was really a little large around the chest but 40s seldom fit me across the shoulders (and also potentially have more issues with sleeve length). it’s one thing for me to have to decide between medium and large t-shirt’s but with something this expensive i’d want it to fit, so i came to the conclusion that custom to get a better fitting torso was probably the way to go.

Went into the Covent shop recently & saw an MA-1 that was of interest..until I found out the price :) Considerably more than my recent ELC Monarch contract A-2..couldn't come away empty handed though..purchased a fantastic bandana..
