I was going by a Brooks Brothers outlet today and I saw this rather attactrive linen suit in the window. I found out they were on sale, but there were only 4 left. Luckily there was one in my size and with the discount it was quite cheap. I couldn't pass it up... Not that I was shopping for a suit... Well, its really rare to find linen suits in Hawaii.

Basic two button, single rear vent. High armholes for a modern suit, like my Brooks Brothers blazer I have. Trousers have two front pleats.

I think the sleaves could be brought down some. (yes that blue shirt is still too large for me, and I need a shave and a haircut...;) )

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Nice.

Here is a reliable way to judge coat sleeve length, independent of the fit of the shirt you happen to be wearing. (It even works if you are wearing short sleeves.)

Relax your arms at your sides. Then flex only your wrists, so that your hands are flat and parallel to the floor, palms facing down, fingers pointing forward.

The coat sleeves should just rest on the top of your hand. If they don't reach, they are too short. If there is a huge break, they are too long.

It's like trouser hems resting against the top of your shoes. You can get them a little bit longer if you prefer ... some don't like their shirt cuff to show; others habitually wear shirts that are too long and cover part of the hand, and will show too much cuff if the coat sleeves are not made longer as well.
