Restored 1972 WEP Jacket

Just back following a light restoration & dry clean, my original 1972 WEP in 48R. Snoopy patch I was told is an original Vietnam item. These jackets are very SHORT

Short indeed, that one would barely reach my belly button, never mind my belt. Anyways, the restoration and cleaning appears to have been a definite success and your jacket looks excellent... are the knits new? I've only ever seen chewed-up knits on oldie jackets.

Awesome jacket! I still toy with the idea of getting a good WEP repro. My old one was like wearing pajamas...so soft and warm!

They are short though, to be sure...especially for us long waisted guys.

Jacket comes to the top of my belt (just) couldn't go any shorter. Knits have been repaired (will post a close up of them when time allows).

I imagine those weirdly shaped cuff knits would be tricky to repair or replace!
