This hat is for sale or trade. It's an older Resistol with the softer, plyable crown. The size is 7 3/8. It's in excellent shape, and the only reason I'm posting it is I'm afraid if I have it re-sized for my 7 1/4 head, it'll come out looking a bit mushroomy.
As far as a trade goes, I'm looking for something similar in a ( you guessed it ) 7 1/4; i.e., an Open Road, a San Antonio, Marathon, etc...Something with essentially the same dimensions and body style.
OR
I'm also looking for a quality Indy style hat in 7 1/4 ( Federation {of the last 2 generations in brown}, HJ, JPD, Peters, Christy's Adventurer, etc... )
As far as the sale price - well, I'll look at what comes up in terms of serious offers, though I'm really looking for trade. I know the ebay range runs a wide swath, and I've got sort of a ball park in mind.
