Ok, somebody explain to me why the Japanese need up to 38W pants, but their XL is like an American M in many cases:

Are they large bottomed and narrow chested? Seems like an odd combination. The e-Workers Khakis are just an example of something I've encountered over and over again.

I don't know what the reason for that is either, but I've noticed it too. I have to agree though, the baggier bottoms look great when offset by a more fitted top.

Am I having Superdenim deja vu?

I think there is still a baggy bottoms trend, a hangover from the
arse-dragging, skate fashions of yore. And folks did wear oversized work trou.
Vintage style work pants are acceptable baggy/oversised, as are dungarees.

These are sorta fishtailed and quite nice, LVC Springbottoms.
I have 'em without the stains and fades, and there was a dark version once called Levis 691:

Wow! That shirt is exactly like the Converse One Star shirt I picked up at Target. Pockets, buttons & throat latch. Uncanny.
