I think he did get a pair.
Mike will correct me if I am wrong but he wore them when we met for dinner at the Heidelberg.

Well, I did get the e-workers ones. They just don't fit me so well so I am posting them on ebay very soon. They are sized 34x32 and are made from a very comfortable, thin chambray, apparently something like a 6oz material. As a side note, I wore them as an extra in a live club scene on the set of Rob Zombie's Halloween 2! Knowing that I was going to sell them, I purchased a pair of the Cushman-made s&p pants via John from Speedway as a replacement several months ago and have to say I absolutely love them! They're a thicker material, something more like a 12oz apparently and a much higher rise than the e-workers ones. The Cushman/Speedway versions also have a nice full fit. I wear them all the time! I find for wrestling with the dog they are perfect! :D

Anyone know if these are hemmed? The inseam length appears to be slightly over 34" which would be fine for me if hemmed. If not hemmed, it could be a problem.

After they are washed they are slightly over 32" inseam. The waist did not shrink. If you need a 34" inseam perhaps you could only have them drycleaned..?

***I was in touch with him before, and at first he seemed eager to deal with us "gaijin", but now he won't respond to my emails requesting sizes/descriptions in English for his new items. I think I may have pissed him off by not buying something...

One word of warning folks; his sizing is rather bizarre-the x-large size shirts for instance have a pathetic 22" chest and 27" inch sleeves (!). Fine for a basketball player maybe, but not me. I asked him to make the arms shorter and chest bigger for future shirts, and he said "he'll think about it". That was the last I heard from him.

The e-workers guy seems like a very nice and courteous guy to me. Maybe he's just on vacation or something. Plus, he probably gets a lot of the same questions. I was asking him about why the sleeves were so long on his new stuff. In the end, I'm glad he did because the 27" sleeves wind up being closer to 25.5 after washing!

That is a much better price for the Wolverine boots.
I was at J Crew yesterday drooling over their Red Wings, but I think I'll go for these Wolverines instead.
While I was there, I also saw some Mister Freedom accessories: $65 for a non- descript web belt, and $180 for one of those long, trendy type scarves

You can buy pretty good repro web belts at At The Front or WWII Impressions...less than $20 on either site.

What's the Mister Freedom scarf look like?

Sounds like a miss on the scarf...anything else interesting from Mister Freedom at J Crew?
I only saw the web belt, the scarf, and this bandanna:

***Hmm...good point. But a 22" chest for an XL?

Sure, it's crazy! But considering their history, perhaps it is in ingrained in their culture to attempt to not attract the xxl to their country as time would prove it never bodes well for their infrastructure...?

the gap 2 for 1 sale is now over. I didn't learn that it even existed till yesterday.

The local J. Crew outlet has these however for 50 bucks, only sized small and xl left

do I dare ask how much that mr.freedom bandanna is?

They said it was on the tag inside the garment, not the price tag.

just got off the phone with gap customer service, was there a "s" before those numbers? is there a name for the item?

I think the shirts at the J Crew outlet store are a different variation...no selvage and different stitching.

Nope, the guy at the store in Chicago had no problem finding it in their system.

I have them both...you are right about the one with the selvage having a tage on the front. It's a United Garment Workers type tag.
