Haverhill,? is that Hertfordshire? I wouldn't bother Aero at the moment as they are trying to get back on track, there maybe someone on here that could do it for you. Do you have the cuffs?
I don't know if Eastman does repairs anymore but Stephen Silburn(Sefton clothing co) in north Essex used to do repairs, if you put his name and A2 into Google or whatever engine his address will come up.
Best I can do at the moment.
let us know if you find anybody, I need 2 A2s doing, cuffs only.
Thanks,John

One of our members posted a tutorial on how to do this a few years back. It would be way too involved for you or me, but if you could do screen shots and take the copy to most any tailor or seamstress, I don't think it would be much of a problem. Where you live there are probably a bunch of qualified people to do the job. You will need to take the cuffs to them, I would imagine. They are available on eBay, and I think, at Mash. I have bought some on eBay, but not through Mash.

Others will have additional ideas.

PS: We are still waiting on photographs of that jacket you got about 3 or 4 years ago.

Not too close, John. He is in Haverhill, Mass. A little north of Boston.

I can't believe that in Boston or NYC there isn't a vintage store that sells leather jackets and does or sources out repairs and replacements on the knits. I had a similar question until I went to a vintage store in LA and he said that was right down his line. Of course, moolah will be involved, I'm sure.

I seem to remember reading a post about someone here on the lounge getting a quote from Saul at US Authentic, for some work needed on an A2. You might check with them.

Haverhill is one of our motorcycle Sunday ride out destinations, Boston is a little far out, that's Lincolnshire (nudge nudge wink wink).
If you had to do it yourself then why not turn the jacket inside out, find the 'magic' seam to get to the innards usually (down one arm) then unpick the cuffs and replace, hand sewing very thing back.
I did this for a squadron patch for a jacket this had been removed from, took ages but looked good in the end.

Ps Mr Swatland may be as to give you better advice on this.
