Bodie says it's time for a bump and the Stetson 100 is the hat of choice.

LOL, I just had a "gif" run through my head of Bodie grabbing that 100 and giving it a death shake.....

My last dog would definitely eat hats.... Beau went through shoes, indestructible dog toys and all manner of clothing; anything left lying around.

Looks like you were pointing out to your wife that she missed a spot when she was mowing & trimming.

Thanks for having the faith in me that I carry that kind of weight around here, HJ but sadly, that ain't the case.

Very nice shot, Greg. Were you telling the dog to get his own drink?

I was trying to talk him in to getting me another bottle of tequila as the one in the picture had just evaporated.

I'm sorry to hear this, Chuck! Two in near succession is tough.

Those new guys look like little cuties though.

My 14 year old was still helping me bring in the horses every night right up till the day prior to loosing him. We knew it was coming for 2 weeks. And we all know nothing makes that easier.

Never done it this way before but with a 4 year old to entertain and knowing the loss both humans and animals can feel so deeply I wanted to try something different. We buried Marley here on the place, Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning we drove 30 miles and picked up Charlie, from an Internet ad @ 10 weeks. He's 13 weeks now and everyone has been better for the experience despite the bouts of short term depression we all still experience. Hard to go to sleep or wake up without thinking about my time with Marley.

Still there is nothing like a puppy to put a smile on any face.
