This should qualify as cordovan shouldn't it? It is goat
Need to post it next I guess
That @red devil ’s grizzly is made of one of the thickest and stiffest goatskin I’ve handled. I believe it started out red, and Theodoros used his trademark beeswax method to darken it to dark burgundy (Cordovan).
This is a real looker. I like the short body length. Personally I think people often wear their jackets too long. I know that's probably to accomodate low rise jeans but I think these kind of jackets look best when they're 25' or shorter.Speaking of the Grizzly... Finally had some light to take some pics, so here it is.
Fortunately, my weight has been pretty stable overall and I am still within the same general weight range. I also decided that I might as well standardise these fit pics with only wearing a t-shirt under, as opposed to try to optimise the fit by layering where it can make things look better.
This jacket was comfortable when I was much heavier, it was a jacket I could also layer in back then as I had planned it as a colder seasons jacket. The range of motion it offered back then with a thick sweater was really impressive, so with a t-shit under and less weight... it is roomy.

And now you're probably going to tell me this grizzly has a 26' body length
I agree. The relaxed fit does look good. I'm thinking of going for a relaxed fit for my next jacket. But I'm struggling with the bottom hem. Because I don't have hips, going for a relaxed fit usually results in huge overhang.I also like the relaxed fit a lot. Lately I’m not into of super fitted jackets.
^double up on the squats and you’ll find yourself with a ghetto booty in no time!
More seriously though, IMO relaxed jackets pair well with relaxed/straight cut jeans/trousers. No baggy cuts but no skinnies either. I think the fit of Red Devil jeans in those pic suits the cut of the jacket very well.
There you have it And it looks just right.@Marc mndt , it is actually shorter than I thought... about 23.5" measured from the base of the neck
I think Theodoros does that exceptionally well, getting the proportions of a jacket right. The red jacket is on the way! I suspect it will be about that length as well
