A hat shop has to make an order for the special run of hats from Akubra. The hat shop puts the hats in their inventory & we order them just like we do the other colors offered. I think the shop has to order at least 50 but are gauging our interest to cover at least 30 units to see if it is worth it to do.

Just to confirm what gtdean said. As per Sam at the hat store Everythingaustralian, if we show enough interest in the hat he will confirm a go ahead with Akubra and then update his website so each individual purchaser will input their size requirement, shipping address and complete their payment. Sam will summarize the order and dispatch it to Akubra once we hit the target.

We are at 19 interested members now. For members looking for larger sizes this hat will be offered up to size 64 like the other Camp Drafts on EA's site. A nice thin ribbon, bound brim is on the horizon, but the sooner we can get the orders in, the closer that horizon can be.

If we can get the numbers this will be a very interesting hat. Moonstone is a very eye catching and versatile shade of grey. It comes on very few Akubra models. 2 5/8th brim. Akubra does not have a single model at 2 5/8ths.

For those folks who would like a special thin ribbon hat that looks good in the city or more rural surroundings with a midsize bound edge at a very affordable price this is the place to stop and drop their request.

... Anyway the Campdrafts are great hats and when you can get a special color and a 2 5\8s brim!
