A New England cookbook title (Vintage even)!
Yum! Thanks for the links, kids! Santa will be getting my bean pot request as well.
For those interested in New England Cookery, you might look for this (or ask Santa to):
The New England Yankee Cookbook, by Imogene Wolcott published 1939 Coward-McCann NY NY
Reprints were done for the series called "Cookbook Collectors Library" by Favorite Recipes Press, Inc.
I don't claim the recipes are authentic; that's for the New Englanders in the Lounge to decide. I just mention it because it's vintage, and there are recipes for things like "Bean Pot Applesauce" and "Yankee Mead" (yep--booze recipes to be found in there).
