Dan,

Oh my goodness, I could just kiss you! So excited to hear that Fort Apache is coming out on DVD. We have had to keep a VCR in the house for the sole reason that Hubby has to watch Fort Apache every couple of months.
Thanks for the heads up...also where can I pre-order it from?

Jessica

Jessica: Fort Apache released last month. You can get it at Amazon, but I found mine at Borders. Get it soon so the Hubby can enjoy it over and over again.;)

Oh, I alost forgot, I also picked up 'Mister Roberts'.

Cheers & Semper Fi!

Dan

The Wind and The Lion.

Connery as the Rhizuli and Brian Keith as TR. Campaign hats, Winchester trench guns and '03 Springfields. Gotta love John Milius.

"Cap'n Jerome, United States Marines. You sir are my prisoner."

"You are a dangerous man Captain, and your President Roosevelt is insane."

"Yes Sir!" :D

I got the Aviator for $4.00 at my local Blockbuster a couple weeks ago. I thought that was a very good deal as I have received the two DVD special edition.

Just watched "The Great Gatsby" with a wonderful lady who shares the same interests. I have a feeling we will be going through many movies in the same manner.

Some say this is the movie that inspired the Indiana Jones character...

This is usually a VERY difficult movie to find, but I lucked out and found it on DVD recently. ;) Charlton Heston played a great rogue... :D

Miss Morris: Most men don't enjoy taking money from women.
Harry Steele: I do. It's the hardest to get, and it smells so good.

Stanley Kubrick's The Killing -- $13 bucks shipped from Amazon

Senator: savor those Dragnet episodes. Universal refuses to release any further seasons because '67 didn't sell too well. Which truly sucks because I was prepared to buy the entire run.

Now if only the black & white episodes would come out in good quality...

Just the facts, Ma'am.

Tempting, but I have to wonder how good the quality is.

I just don't get Universal's logic -- with Netflix, they'd easily recoup whatever costs are involved in releasing the other seasons, especially considering that they don't include any extras. But I'd love to hear Harry Morgan's commentary, especially on the Blue Boy episode ("I'm on the train... I'm on the train...").
