Received My New Aerial Star A-2 -- Amazing Jacket!

Just received my new Aerial Star A-2 yesterday - it's beautiful! I tried it on and it’s absolutely great! Fits perfectly, I got it in size 42 and had 1 inch added to the body and 1 inch added to the sleeves (as recommended by the owner, Chris). I’m very happy with it. The leather is absolutely fantastic, beautiful russet brown, buttery and doesn’t need to be broken in too much. The shape and fit of the jacket is perfect too. It’s exactly the length and cut I wanted: I feel I can move in the jacket and I’m not restricted, but the jacket still look nice a fitted.

I can't recommend enough, especially Chris's customer service, he has been absolutely great.

Just wanted to let you fellow loungers know - I'm going to post a full review and pictures shortly... just a bit too busy at work this week to do it!

So here goes! I've actually separated my review in thee categories.

Service:
Thought I'd start with this first, as to me the service you get while ordering/ waiting for your jacket is just as important as the jacket itself. I frankly I couldn't be happier, and certainly Chirs went beyond my expectations. When I order the jacket Chris made sure that I got the size correct. I wanted 1 inch more in length which he recommended as well, but he also recommend adding an inch to the sleeves. I'm happy I took his advise as in my view the sleeve would've been a bit too short if I hadn't.
Chris kept me update in the progress with the jacket and then when he received it from the factory he reviewed it thoroughly. We then had a conversation on the phone and he was honest and told me what he thought might need redoing- basically the hook and eye which in his view was not perfect. Also he asked if I was happy with the pockets placed just 2 inch from the seem, which I was, but I appreciate he asked and said he would get it fixed for me if i wanted. After getting the hook and eye replaced, Chris sent the jacket to me- with a birthday card giving it was my birthday a few days before! had quite a few calls with him and clearly he's really focused on getting the right jacket to you - exactly like you want it. I think that's great. I certainly haven't had such great service from other of the more established
brands.

Jacket style
I love the jacket. I think it looks great, the collar is slightly pointy, which I love, and the length is perfect to me, not only that, it's really comfortable to wear: I can move in this jacket, it is design so as no to restrict movement, and I can add some later under it- but it still keeps the authentic look of the A2. The colour of the leather is just beautiful. Hope the photos do it justice, it's a nice red russet, really the jacket is very stylish.

Jacket quality
The leather is beautiful, smooth and supple yet still has a bit of that stiff feel to it. There's not much breaking in needed but enough to make it fun and "personalise" the jacket of time as you wear it.

So overall I'm really happy I went for Aerial Star. Not only the jacket and service are great but also 3 payments make it really worth it too.

Congratulations on a really beautiful jacket. Sorry, but I had to laugh when I saw the pictures -- you've got that slightly goofy smile we all get when, after a wait, you finally pull the thing out of the box. What a great experience.

Fair enough, I like it this way though, I like being able to move a bit and have some layers under the jacket.
