Buco jacket, size 48. Looks like a modern reproduction trying to be passed off as an original. What do you all think?

Fake Buco on eBay?

This one looks like a reproduction to me, but what do you guys think? I contacted the seller and he brushed me off.

It says in the description that it's a reproduction from about ten years ago. The Waldes zippers confirm that- probably a high end Japanese job.

Moreover, the last line -- which reveals that it is a repro -- is in a different font and lighter color, thus suggesting that it was added after the fact (perhaps in response to Joel's inquiry).

On a separate but related note, RMC has licensed the right to use the Buco name; hence the reason certain of their jackets include Buco labels. Certain other manufacturers also use Buco labels -- I wonder whether they also went through the trouble, and paid the fee, to license the rights, or whether they are infringing on the Buco copyright.

Funny thing is, when I looked at the description, the colour of last line is not light anymore, I guess he changed it again? Maybe the seller read this thread?

Also, I dont think that coin pocket is in correct shape.

Just reading the description was pretty testing, the grammar is very suspect, a bit like a Google translate type thing. Well it would put me off bidding anyway.
