Pre-owned Real McCoy's Type D-1 jacket in size Small. Unfortunately I have to let this beauty go as I do not get enough wear out of it in the Australia climate.
Very small signs of rubbing on the elbows, but otherwise in excellent condition.

The U.S Army D-1 mechanic jacket was issued during the same period as the B-6 flight jacket. It was designed for grounds crew often working in harsh weather conditions, however, because of it's relatively simple design, was soon adopted by pilots who would wear it over their A-2 flight jackets for layering warmth whilst still retaining ease of movement.
