Bought new 2 years ago at the Real McCoy store in London -- I actully love this jacket .. the horsehide is amazing.... Retail is $1794.00 -- will take 1200!

Is this the tea core leather?

I'm not the seller, but I have that exact jacket, Yes it is tea core. In the fourth and eighth photos you can see the strip on leather on the zipper is brown on one side, which indicates it is tea core. In their leather that is dyed black all the way through, it would be black on the strip on leather and not brown.

Thank you very much. And if you have had any other similar jackets in this style, what were they and how did they compare. I also like to Aero board racer because of the customization. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ok. I’m just getting into to these nicer leather jackets and it’s a whole new world. I’m trying to navigate through it without trying anything on. It’s tough. Lol

I know how you feel. Luckily I went on vacation to Japan with some friends and was able to try their j-100 in person and bought mine.

I had an accident on a bike wearing an Aero steerhide Cafe jacket -- It completely protected me. the leather is thicker than this for example, but not as thick as a Lost worlds jacket (in fact no leather is as thick as Lost Worlds) The Real McCoy's jackets are more expensive than any of them.. but the fit is amazing, I kind of bought this on impulse as when I put it on in the store it just felt fantastic to wear --- I have to many motorcycles, and to many jackets.. I am forcing myself to sell things that just sit in the closet... I won't say how many bikes I have, but I am trying to sell those as well. Not sure if any of this helps... its a sick lightweight jacket, almost like a shirt, excellent for hot weather when you still want the protection of leather and you don't want to wear a perforated jacket

That is exactly what I’m looking for. I ride also and have a Dainese jacket for most of my riding. But On super hot days I would like to have something a little lighter. And also wear it casually. Unfortunately I’m waiting on my refund for this purchase. So, if it’s still available in about 2 weeks, it will be coming home to me. Lol. Good luck with the sale.
