Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow

Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow is the only brand I've found that doesn't crease. Every time I try another brand I'm disappointed and go back. Love it!

Rimmel Professional Liquid Eyeliner

I switched to this after using Loreal for years because it is what Fleur uses and I think her liner always looks perfect! It is inexpensive but wonderful!! I can even sleep in it (bad I know) and still have perfect liner in the morning! The brush is perfect and I can get a super fine line or heavy. LOVE it!!

I've searched high and low for this eyeliner, but I can only find Rimmel Professional Glam Eyes or Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner. I bought the last one and is pretty good, but if by mistake I rub my eye it will smudge so I definitely could not go to bed with it on...

Creme de la Mer

The only moisturiser that works for my dry skin - I have tried so many other moisturisers and none have worked - this cream may be pricey but you use only a tiny amount and you get a few months out of each tub - my skin has never looked better - even my husband noticed the change in my skin once I started using it.

Dramatic look mascara from Max factor.
I have been using it for years and i am not change it. I have bought other brands and newer products to give then a try and i have given then away or chucked in a drawer after the first use.
There is nothing like my one.

I tried this and I find the brush way too thin. Maybe I should give it another shot.

Nuxe Tonific Fermeté Intensive Firming Cream & Homemade Vit C Serum

Love these both. The cream is the only thing that has solved my dry older looking skin problems. Expensive but totally worth it - a miracle cream! And the homemade vit C serum is unbelievably cheap to make and makes your skin look like nothing else. The best anti-oxidant glowifier.

Maybelline Line Definer liquid eyeliner. I wanted cheap liner because mine was irritating my eyelids and I couldn't afford a pricier one. There wasn't a tester for this but it said nice things on the packet like "perfectly precise" and "intense black". Not so. It was watery, not even CLOSE to black and bled into the creases on my hand instantly. Serves me right for buying a product I couldn't test, but if anyone else needs cheap liner in a pinch, buy ANYTHING BUT THIS ONE. Terrible.

Egg white and lemon juice mask/facia

I was looking for a recipe for a home facial and decided to try the egg whites with lemon juice recipe. It did nothing but leave my skin red. Total waste of time.

Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo & Conditioner

I have long, thick, dark hair, and after using this product it leaves my hair wonderfully soft and glossy. If you go to Wal-Mart, huge bottles are only $5 each and they last a good month or two. Since I've been using this, I've gotten tons of compliments on how shiny my hair looks.

Arizona Pomegranate Green Tea Stix
I'd consider this in the beauty category since it makes me drink way more water. You empty them in your water bottle and they taste so yummy. The Crystal Light ones are too sweet for my taste. A major plus is they are calorie, sodium, and fat free.

This stuff gets my hair clean the first time. All the pomade, spray, setting lotion - gone! I love it. Plus it is affordable.

A hearty ditto! This is one of the best shampoos I've found and it's just right as far as price goes. I keep my set for multiple days and still only need to shampoo once with this product. Even being such a heavy duty cleanser, it isn't drying or damaging to my hair, but I follow it up anyway with their 24-Hour Body Conditioner. Great stuff! The giant bottles last a long time as well.

I went out on a limb and tried Maybelline's Lash Stiletto mascara and absolutely HATED IT!! The wand had this bushy, very soft-bristled brush that just swooshed over my eyelashes. It resulted in this really strange, uneven look that I couldn't do anything about; made it look like some of my eyelashes had fallen out in a clump and others were spindly and long. Completely not what I had expected...thankfully, I hung onto my reciept and the store let me return it.

I LOVE Matrix Essentials Sleek Look shampoo and conditioner. My hair tends to be on the dry side, and this stuff is soooo moisturizing! I should probably just stop washing my hair daily, but I just can't do it. :p

I was just going to post about the matrix sleek look shampoo! It is sooo nice for my course hair. Ulta usually has a good deal now and then for the giant bottles as well for about $13. My hair has also stopped falling out so much since I used this type regularly.

Just keep checking at Ulta - Once they had a shampoo plus full size conditioner and it was maybe $20. The last time the HUGE bottles were $13 while the small ones were like $12. I wish I would have stocked up. They have the best price I think. Plus they often have online coupons if you sign up. It is nice that I can find it at Target as well though.

Re: Shampoos like Matrix etc.

Ulta is great for having regular sales on them.. Also Beauty Brands, if you have one near you, has a annual liter shampoo sale in which 99% of their shampoos and conditioners are half off. I used to work there when I was younger, and between the liter sale and my discount, I stocked up on enough shampoo to last me yeaaaaaaaaars... In fact, I just ran out this past October...Time to go shopping again!

Another fan on the liter sales! I get mine at Ulta and my favorite shampoo I've been using for years is Redken Clear Moisture, great for my fine, not very thick hair :)

Mac Pro Longwear Lipcolor

This stuff stays put more than any all day lipstick I've tried. I usually have to reapply at the center of my lips for a long day, but it usually takes my cold cream to get if off at night. Good stuff! I have it in Lasting Lust and Commitment, and I think both work well for vintage.

I am in love!!! Goes on black (or whatever colour you buy), stays black, application is wonderful and "fluid", doesn't smudge in the corners of my eye throughout the day, STAYS PUT! Once you go MAC you'll never go back ;)

Isn't it funny how the small things can be so exciting? I was just planning on going out today to buy this stuff. :)
