Rare Whippet?

I recently acquired a Whippet from a fellow Lounger that does not display the usual characteristics of aforementioned style. I would appreciate help from Stetsonophiles as to the possible age and availabilty of this hat. From the pics you'll see a 3/8" ribbon, versus the more common larger one, and the liner has 3 Whippets running and "Stetson Whippet", versus just the name. The hat is a size 7 3/4, 7x beaver, medium gray color,and the felt is soft and almost flawless.

I own two Whippets, and both simply have the word "Whippet" in script on the liner. No graphic image of the dogs.

Same here. Neither of my Whippets has any dogs, just the word "Whippet".

That hat was produced in the early 1980's by Stetson. It bears no resemblense to the original Whippet and had a very low crown. I have one of them in my store in navy blue . Very ugly hat if you ask me!
