Here we have rare chance for you to get a Chamois brand bowler. Chamois is a rare brand that Stetson owned and made for a short time in the late 1800s and early 1900s before mothballing the name.
This is a high bowler, popular at the turn of the century.
The crown stand 5-1/2 inches. It has air vents in the top and the ribbon bound brim is intact except for about 1/4 inch of fraying at the back. The leather sweatband is securely attached. It has a size label sticker that says 7, but it seems a bit larger than that measuring 6-1/4 ear-to-ear and 7-7/8 front-to-back.
This is a very rare model.
Asking $145 plus $24 for shipping.
