Rainbow county brown shinki horsehide cafe racer 42

I bought this and wore it a couple times and it still needs to be broken in. The previous owner wore it about 16 times. A flat head cafe racer in a similar leather popped up and I decided to go with it instead since it seems to fit my body shape a bit better. Quality wise they are both excellent and I can’t ding either one. I really don’t need that many brown cafe racers.

Chest 21.9inches

Shoulder 19.7inches

Sleeve 25.9inches

I have this exact jacket in Nume hh coming to me in size 42 and I’ll measure mine when it gets here and post it up. But I’m quite sure it’d be very close to the manufacturer numbers I posted based on my last RC jacket which measured out really precise.
FWIW, I wear US 40R and 42Slim suits. The difference between these are not in the jacket but the pants that comes with them. The 42 suit pants comes half to one size larger for those winter months.
I want to say that if you wear a 42 American suit then RC 42 will work. I will know this for sure soon and will post about it. I also looked at the Fine Creek Alonzo. I would also pick 42 for myself in that but I wear mostly 40 in Aeros.

Don’t forget that this is a cafe racer and it is meant to fit closer to your body. The gusseted back maintains the mobility.

What is your actual chest measurement? With air and without.

I should be getting my jacket this week according to Yamato. I will post about it when I get it. Everywhere I looked this jacket has the measurement at about 22" at the chest and 19" at the shoulder with about 25" sleeves. And it has an action back. And from my car coat experience these RC jackets are cut close like a suit jacket. So I think I did size right. Or that RC is TTS.

I have one of these in black. I am a 40 in everything and take a 40 in Rainbow Country. Their stuff fits as a 40 should except that 40s car coat fits large. RC makes really nice jackets and are on par and just as nice as my Freewheelers.
