My Mum has one of those rain bonnets - nothing as cool as what's on that website though - a clear one that she wears when she's gotten her hair done. I don't think she likes it much - it's more for practical wear than anything.

yes, often we think of those bonnets as not being overly fashionable, but they are definitely practical. Here, whenever it rains, it always seems to be windy too,so umbrellas are pretty useless.

These are super cute compared to the clear ones. I always wear one paired with a head scarf. My hair is quite long the scarf keeps my hair from sliding out.
These are even great when its snowy out, too (hats never cut the mustard).
I got mine at Walgreens and was excited to see a few piped in light blue and pink.
Thanks for posting these.

Here one mainly sees gray/silver haired ladies wearing these. Which makes it seem as only older ladies can sport these, which is a huge shame like you said and I whole hearted-ly agree, these are very practical. Especially when you want to keep your pretty 1940's-1950's hair dry and in shape.

I do get occasional eyebrow raises when I wear mine (same when I wear a head scarf, a male co-worker complimented me on my head scarf, I was super excited when I got the compliment).

Hopefully a trend will start, I am keeping my fingers crossed on that.

I'm looking for some stateside and can't find any I like as well as the Bubble Betty. I've got to find out if she ships to the US.

I was able to view the video. So funny and true. I have a cape rain coat but not one with a hood. The only problem with the cape one I have is it is quite thick and stiff. I have a hard time carring my purse with me hard to access under the material. After seeing the one the lady was waring I very much would like to know where I could get one of these.
