Quick Question! Mineral Makeup & Natural Light Photography

Goddesses,

I have recently tried mineral makeup and holy flawless skin Batman! It's awesome! I'm having pictures taken tomorrow, and I have read it's not great for flash photos inside. I will be photographed in natural light, outside tomorrow. Will it do well outside or do I need to stick to another base makeup?

Thanks!

Should be fine by daylight!

It's nice stuff!
But the daylight should be no problem, flash sometimes glares off the titanium in it and makes it looks too bright. But the camera should be seeing about what you see by sunlight.
Do post the pictures!

Thanks Miss 1929!

Thanks Miss 1929! It seems to look OK in the daylight when I look at it, just like you said...

Any other opinions? BUMP!

From my experience, you will always look better photographed in natural light then in flash light, since flash will always bring everything out since it's so harsh!

I did the make-up on my best friend for her wedding, and used mineral make-up. Her wedding photoes was taken in natural light, and came out beautifull. She looked natural and glowing, the make-up worked fine.

It should be fine if there is no SPF in the product, just like Miss 1929 said the titanium in the products that make it a UVA/UVB protectant can cause a person to look very pale or chalkey, I would suggest not doing it for a photoshoot. If you have to use it place a bronzer on top and put more blush on so you will have some color on you. If you have the chance to do test shots a day before it's always good to do half the face with the mineral and the other half without it and see what you like the best. Hope all goes well with the shoot!

Well, I went with normal makeup because I was too afraid of having them all turn out badly. I'll have to experiment in the sun just like some of you suggested - I didn't have the time this go-round. Thanks! :D
