I'd like to purchase an unused Aero leather B-3 jacket for $950
Is it reasonable? I live in Korea, so I can't try it on.
Also, please let me know if I should buy the right size or a bigger size.
I've never worn a b-3 jacket.

that's an ok price. Sounds right for new. I would go down one size in B3 from Aero, but I prefer snug fit since I won't need to layer with this jacket. Otherwise, order your chest size.

Personally, I wear mine a lot but it's usually just in short time frames, for instance, taking the dog for a walk or quick drop off for the kids to school. I couldn't imagine wearing it all day. It is very bulky. But what's nice is get instantly warm by putting it on. So like I said, in the morning it's great, so you don't have to get all dressed up. you can just throw on the jacket and be very warm.

If you are looking for more of a fashion style, I would recommend Real McCoy or Toy McCoy. Those are almost as warm, but much easier to wear.

Does it get cold where you live?
I own two B-3 jackets and living in London or Belgium i wear them once or twice a year maximum.
You really need freezing temperatures to comfortablt wear a B-3.

I would love a B3 but living in the UK cant justify a buy that May only get worn a few days a year. Solved my issue by getting the thinner fleeced D-1 that can earn its keep. I had an Irvin type but sold that as it didn’t get much use being too warm for me. I do however run quite hot…

I must be thin skinned. I wear mine all the time. Sweet spot is about 35-55 degrees (3-15c). Like I said though, I wear it in short bursts, maybe 1-2 hours max and mostly over a tshirt or thin sweatershirt or light type 3 denim.

I found D1 to be not warm enough at all. But it's definitely a much easier style to wear for longer periods of time though.

I live in South Korea.
Every year from December to February, sub-zero weather continues here, so winter outerwear is needed.
