What's your opinion of the snap placement on the collars ? They appear kind of random being so close and off center.Yes. That ticket was used on jackets from 1982-1984. Here’s one I used to own and one I currently own.

I remember someone postulating that once on here before but never backed it up. If I remember correctly it was after Gail passed away so I could never confirm and I’ve never heard that anywhere else.Wasn't this done only on the jackets for the European distributors?

I believe they were used in 1982-83Has anyone ever seen the Schott Perfecto with a black Schott label sewn outside of the coin pocket? I dont recall ever seeing this ???
No , but they did use it - so buyer bewareWasn't this done only on the jackets for the European distributors?

No, it was most US jackets for those years, many other models too. I have read it over and over from the old Gail Schott question chain, and I have four or five as well.Wasn't this done only on the jackets for the European distributors?

And to be even more exact, it was only two years….1983 and 1984. This is alway an interesting topic for those that have the “tab”, an ability to know your jacket is ”dated” exactly from one of those two years, but also know it is not generally considered to be “better”. The quality from then is very random.I learned something new but honestly, I only ever saw these first on the Perfectos for Europe. But good to know, either way.
