Question for Folks With Chippewa Boots

I just received a couple of pairs of Chippewa engineer boots. I read online that they are supposed to have a cushioned "Texon" insole. However, both of mine have a thin, hard leather strip - and with no Chippewa logo on the heel inside.

Is this typical? Do yours' have a logo in the inside (heel) and is there a cushioned insole? I read a review on a site (I think Amazon), that said his was missing the cushioned insole and Chippewa told him that a lot of people take them out (and then return them).

I'm wondering if mine came that way. I'll be returning them, if that's the case.

Thanks for the help.
