Thanks sweetfights, yes, still loving my Buco Rider very much. Cooler weather starting now so it'll be getting a lot more wear going forward - this despite me having a bunch of Vansons in my closet that need more wear-time too! Very tempted to order another LW, haven't decided which one yet.

I'm negotiating a Suburban with Stuart. Should be a great jacket. I want it in a bulletproof 4oz. I'm also considering a Ryder, but after my Aero CR I want something loose. What do you think, guys?

I think 4 oz. would be a bit stiff for me--unless bought for the specific purpose of riding. The weight wouldn't bother me, but I have developed an aversion to stiff leather for non riding wear. My Aero Highwayman is about 3.5 to 4 oz, and it took a while to break in. It is in cow, though, and doesn't soften as much as the FQHH. Still not as comfortable to wear as my lighter weight HH jackets.

My Johnson Leathers is a 4 oz. in cow, and it took probably two years to break in. I bought it for riding (as I did the Highwayman) so the stiff leather is ok. Both the Johnson and the Aero are now comfortable to wear for riding, but I don't wear them otherwise.

So, if you are purchasing as a riding jacket, I think it would be on the money. If for wear around town, it would be a bit much for me.

Actually I'm buying for both purposes but I see you mean. I like stiff leather and for that reason I think a Suburban is better since it's roomier that a Ryder. Snug jackets in thick leather are pretty difficult to wear. Thank you for the input.
