My condolences, y'all. Any time something innovative comes along, network execs kill it... (Firefly springs to immediate mind, and I'm surprised they even let Equalizer last as long as it did.)

We can always pray they make a film, in the tradition of Firefly.

I'm so sad! I look forward to the show every week- it makes me feel a little bit better about the world. I think I've been slightly depressed since I heard the news on Thursday morning. What a terrible birthday present!

If it helps to know, there's always worse--my adopted-brother "War" had his 21st on 9/11, while we were taking a week to roadtrip before starting the quarter. Either way, sucks for sure... Hope the rest of it went better!

I'm really disappointed that the show was canceled. Maybe another network will pick it up.

This is one of the few shows I watch on a regular basis and I love it! I was disappointed to hear it's been canceled, but I'm hopeful another network will pick it up. There is a lot of great vintage styling in the clothes, homes, and vehicles. Chuck and Olive's costumes always make them look so glamorous. I especially love Ned's apartment, and it is almost exactly as I want my own apartment to look someday. Hopefully, that someday will be soon.
