Pulled Through a Cow Wrong-End-To

The title of this thread has always puzzled me. If I were to pull a hat through the RIGHT end of a cow, how much better off would I be? And which is the right end to pull a hat through?

Both ends are wrong so you have a good chance of pulling it through the wrong end.

Just got in from Oregon and ducked my head in to see that our brethren are still helpful and VERY savy on hatworking. Thanks guys for standing in!! I ALSO wonder about the title ( thats what got my attention) so , JP, further explanation please?? Whether it's the wrong end or right...how does one pull the hat through? specifics please....

Like I say, there is no wrong end. They are both wrong ends.
You pull it through with string.

You get it started by putting a hemp string in the cow's hay.
