Great minds on this forum have stated that they own a propeller cap. The one in the photo is one of mine.

Does anyone else have one? Or a collection thereof?

I had a beanycopter as a kid. It was a toy tie-in to the Beany and Cecil cartoon. You pulled the chin strap and the propeller flew off the cap.

Someone else on this forum admitted to owning one.

'Twas I, although I object to your use of the word "admitted" with its likely implications.
I'm glad that this classic headgear now finally has its own richly deserved thread here, although it's unfortunate that you should have chosen to start this thread with a photograph of a billed cap which can hardly be considered to be an example of the true classic original.

Both of mine have bills... I'd go for one of the propeller beanies but I've never seen one of them for sale.

Well, it has arrived. Behold, the Interstellar Propeller brimless propeller cap:

Snazzy, ain't it? With Interstellar Propeller you can customize your cap...a little. The panel colors appear to remain the same on all caps--from the front center, orange, red, purple, blue, green, and yellow. You can choose between brim/no brim; select the color of your propeller (green, blue, red, glow-in-the-dark white), select what sits at the base of the propeller shaft (bear, computer, frog, pig), and patch/no patch ("hacker", "propeller head", "chief propellerhead", "super genius", "geek"). They come in "child" and "adult" sizes, and each cap has an elastic "sizer" strap at the back of the "sweatband". Whaddaya expect for $16 plus shipping?

Now that's a quality item!
