We kept it here because it's TV related, even if most of the audience are women- I know several guys who watch it as well- and they're not of the orientation you're thinking ;)

My favorite moment is when Michael Kors called someone a wackadoo.

I love that Robert Best with his Barbies. I wanted to see his whole bio video--I'm sure it was a hoot.

Oh and that Kayne with his "NO WIRE HANGERS" bit. Priceless!

But seriously--that Vincent must have drunk a cup of crazy to think that his basket hat thing was going to work.

He always has the funniest words and comments!
Speaking of judges, I liked what Santino said about Nina in the "Road to..." episode. :p

Are you guys talking about season 2???

Hay is this season 2 of project runway you're talking about? If it is, it hasn't aired yet here (australia). But I did watch the first season, I will be sure to watch it when it airs, but while we are on the topic, from season 1 of project runway, i loved Kara Saun's and Austin's designs (well, most of them) Austin's were so glamourous and quite classic, and Kara Saun's were mostle very sophisticated!! :) I know that Jay was very creative and original, but I would have loved to see either of Austin or Kara Saun win :eusa_doh:

Wouldn't this thread be more appropriately located in the Powder Room? [huh]

My wife got me into Project Runway. It's a very entertaining show. I've even used Tim Gunn's "Make it work" when my wife asks me if something fits, looks right, etc.

I'm disappointed that the Harvard MBA got AUF'd. I liked the fact that she took materials so that others couldn't use them. This attitude would have made for some very interesting situations as the show progressed.

This is going to be such a hard season!! I've never seen such a good lineup during the first challenge. Usually there are a couple who just can't sew at all and you're just waiting around until they get voted off the island. This time almost everyone looked fantastic. Vincent's hat was silly, but his dress wasn't as terrible as a lot of what made it on in earlier seasons. I thought the Harvard chick was the easiest off. Get rid of the non-sewers first so we don't have to look at their sloppy stuff. (During the "road to" special she is all "I'm a Harvard MBA..." and my fiance goes "OMG, she just said she's from Harvard. She's so off the show in the first ep.")

I can't wait till they get down to 6 so they can start critiquing all the looks!

I heart Robert. Look! Here are some of his barbies! (I want to be some of these Barbies!)

It's season 3 that's new here. The 2nd was fairly good, too- you'll probably like it!
I think there is a different version of the show in Canada (or maybe it was someplace else, hm); I wonder what it's like...

I did a weekly Breakdown of last season's Apprentice...

... Which got a lot of attention and people really enjoyed it. Some of those people have asked me why don't I do the same for other shows.

I tried to do one for "Treasure Hunters..." but the oxygen just got sucked out of the room. If I'm going to do one, it'll be for this season of "Project Runway..."

Only because the finalists from the last two seasons succeeded because they used ideas and designes from The Golden Era.

I was all prepared to see a giant awful scandal, but nothing happened. What was up with that? They were all: Next time on Project Runway, everything EXPLODES! But then nothing happened. I feel so let down that I didn't get to see Tim Gunn take his ginghers to someone.

But I totally approved of the final win, though not the final loser. And PR must be getting *huge* now! in the first season it was such a big deal that Banana Republic would agree to produce the winning entry sight unseen, and in the second they got Iman and Sascha Cohen to agree to wear stuff *sometime*, but not necessarily at something important, but Miss USA totally agreed to wear whatever won in the Miss Universe pageant. That's such a huge deal for that designer! I'm so thrilled for him. ^_^

last week

I am dissappointed to see Alison go. Week to week she is very good. I havent been impressed by Vincent's designs at all.
And really Kayne was more of a meltdown.

But I heard one review that complained that in the disclaimer at the end of the show, Judges scores are mixed with producer input. So obviously they are nurturing the contestants who produce flamboyant tv.
