Private Message Notification Suggestion

I occasionally get private messages, but I never notice until days, or weeks later, as I rarely look at the text at the top right of the screen.

I have been on other forums which, when you receive a private message, you get a pop-up in the center of the screen telling you. This would be very useful in my opinion.

Some systems also send you an email message when you've got a PM. So you know that you've got one waiting even without visiting the forum .

Something must be wrong somewhere, RetroS. I always get the pop ups.

How stupid of me! I didn't know there was an option in the settings! :eusa_doh:

And now I've looked at my settings... and see that I have email notification - but not popup notification - set for my own account. I forgot I was already getting emails for PMs!
