Nah, it's not political. It's just hilarious. I think the NY Post had the original story. The tone was pretty lighthearted.

I may or may not not agree with his politics (not sayin'), but I can't believe people are worried about this and it was on the news. I think he deserves a break on this one. It's not like he wore it at the State of the Union address, he was on his off time with the kids.

Speaking of how fashion has changed and the White House.
I couldn't believe when a television chef went to the White House in shorts and orange rubber slip on shoes.
Regardless of who is president at the time that just seemed wrong.
