That's sub-standard workmanship. I think that jacket needs to be remade.
One of the details I forgot to mention that I really like is how on the back, the yoke seem runs directly onto the sleeve seem. Doesn't do this on the speedway pictures on the Aero site and it didn't on my old LVC either. Was a really nice touch.
I've measured and remeasured a few times, there is about a 1/4 inch difference between the two sleeves.

What you actually have is the back from our Premier Work Coat which also gives you the benefit of the flowing yolk and sleeve seams and also a functioning centre back gusset but still giving the look of the speedway back as requested.
1. There is a small gap between the bottom of the zipper and the bottom of the jacket -- it looks like a Plainsman in this regard. I thought the PHB zipper went to the bottom of the jacket: http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/product-detail.php?id=2361 . Why the small gap on this jacket?
