Fantastic research and presentation! In the John Charles Meussdorferr obituary it mentions "Oscar learned the business in Ulm, Wurtenberg, .." which I am sure was at Mayser Hat Manufacturer Ulm.John Charles Meussdorferr was a well established man in his day even beyond the hat business.
