Prayers for Ken of Aero

Couldn't find a thread to fit this in but I thought it needed to be mentioned here.

Ken Calder, who not only founded Aero but this whole repro hobby so many of us are engaged in, is in surgery today for cancer according to a post from Holly. (Public post, so I felt alright sharing it here.)

Warmest wishes to the Calder family in these tough times. We look forward to seeing and reading from Ken soon.

Thoughts are with the Aero crew. You guys have always treated me with incredible courtesy in our interactions. I always appreciated that. Though I've never interacted with Ken, I understand he is the driving force behind the company and I wish him a speedy recovery so your family can be whole again.

As communication with Aero slowed down in the past months and one employee mentioned "we have had a bit of a family emergency" ominously I already had a feeling that it is something health related within the Aero crew.

Thank you for the kind words and thoughts guys.
Ken is in great hands here with NHS Scotland having been superb and moved very swiftly. The cancer is localised and not spread so the surgeons are confident it can be removed without need for further treatment / chemo etc...
He underwent a lengthy operation yesterday, and there will be a recovery period but we are hopeful he will make strong recovery.
He is a tough cookie from the Highlands so will not let this beat him.

As has been mentioned above some of our email response have fallen behind as Holly and myself have been helping at home. Please be patient and we will get back to you.
